This was a kickass video my wife thaugh she was going suprise me with the james hetfield white iron cross esp and she didn't know they sold counterfeit guitars but I had the kneck shimmed down and put new tuners I'm going to put the hetfeild pickups in it but u inspire me man thanks

Hey Sean, I'm a fairly new subscriber and really enjoy your videos/attitude/skills! That said I took the neck off my MIM Tele back in late Fall to do some fret work, etc BIG MISTAKE! I guess I left it off the body way too long 'cause when I put it back on every note was a muted/fretted out like a sitar tone! Finally after about the 3rd time On/Off I noticed about a 2 or 3mm band of lighter colored wood that previously was seated in the pocket & was not yellowed like maple neck gets thru age. WTF!? All 4 screws firmly seated. So, days later I tried again & it seated down. Still ain't quite right. Check this out - my Tele also has about a quarter-sized hole in bottom pocket (and drill hole mistakes!) and a dime-sized hole under neck like yours, except it's just a plain hole partially covered by a sticker, not a plug or hatch like yours. No truss rod access. Unless it's a way to improve sustain I've never seen or heard of such holes! Maybe by now you know what's up with 'em....? Cheers and rock on!

To expensive for me, would cost me £868 including postage to get to England. If there is one thing I learnt from you Sean is that good guitars need not be expensive. I do love the unique shape though. If I were to buy a guitar from you it have to be one you make with your own hands.

Sean, how come we never see your process of adjusting string height and intonation? Did this guitar need that kind of fine tuning?

I am loving these guitars, they look great. They sound great. The price is incredible and the big thing that I am so impressed with is your commitment to quality control, you show such pride in your guitars and that is huge… I have bought namebrand guitars with twisted necks, frets that are in need of serious leveling or more. You are taking the time to make sure that your frets are correct before you send them out. There is not a lot of other companies that do this, that is something to be proud of! Wax potting, on and on. Awesome 👏🏼 job… as a lifelong player, these guitars are made for the playing musician, and they are affordable enough for anybody that has a gig. I have a very strong feeling your company is going to takeoff like a rocket and that is because of your commitment to quality. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 nice work!

Finally able to order the red one ,it was sold out so I got a blue one ,I love these cheap guitars ,I refer to them as advanced kits already painted,you understand that when you do a video they sell out ,if not watching & order you have to wait

Love the videos. You guys make soldering to pot surfaces look so damn easy. Every time I do it I have a hardass time getting the solder to stick, even after roughing it up with sandpaper.

If anyone is wondering if this is just marketing hype, I can confirm that Sean's setup on a Scarred guitar is perfection. These guitars beat anything you will find hanging in a guitar shop. I look forward to Sean and Cathy having a lot of success cranking out these guitars and getting these into the hands of more and more guitar players.

I just bought an Ibanez guitar, a GRX40 which was advertised as 'rusted guitar, 3 string missing, not tested, meybe not working' at my local facebook market place. I paid just 15 dollars for it. I put it apart, cleaned, polished and waxed everything after soaking the rusted parts in vinegar for awhile. Then I put it back together set it up with a fresh set of Ernie Ball super slinky and a Temu tremolo arm (lol). I'm more than happy.

What happened to the scarred replacement necks? the hemisphere fret end necks you said you were selling on some videos

Hi. Nice Job! Double cut not really my thing but the reaper does look completely unique! BTW, I found when taping the frets off, if you start by running one full length strip of tape up the bass side, then tape all frets off so the tape goes onto that strip, you can much more easily remove the tape by just puuling the long piece of as it lifts all the fret tape at the same time. Tada!

Wow Sean and Cathy! Once again you show the world your luthier chops and level of commitment to your customers! Crazy question: Should we be concerned about geometry changes due to the guitar riding in a hot delivery truck, sitting in a jet cargo-hold at 30,000 feet and back on another hot (or cold) delivery truck to its final destination? I know some techs suggest letting a guitar become "acclimated" for a few days before doing any final setup tweaks. Your thoughts???

The real EVH versions do not come with a quarter on or strap hooks for starters. The dummy switch in middle pick up slot is wrong, neck pick up should not be black but reddish and the bridge pick up should be at a slight angle. The trem is not a Floyd and should be a D-tuna version. Also the volume knob shouldn't say volume it should say Tone.

You went over and above. If there was a Pelham Blue Reaper I'd buy it and ask for remorse after. Love ya both, but my wife doesn't know what a guitar is. You make a Pelham Blue, I have first dibs.
